Managing@TXSTATE Program
This program provides a comprehensive overview of employment law, HR policies and procedures, and best practices in management. Participants learn how to apply this knowledge and improve their competencies through interactive exercises, fun group activities, case studies, and self-assessments. Opportunities are created to practice personal and interpersonal skills such as communications, team-building, coaching and leadership.
Managing@TXSTATE Eligibility Guidelines
Managing@TXSTATE has been designed primarily for managers responsible for activities such as hiring staff, giving performance evaluations, and approving time sheets. Please determine your eligibility by considering the following questions.
- Do I hire staff?
- Do I give performance evaluations to staff?
- Am I responsible for approving leave and time sheets for staff?
If you answer "no" to any of these questions, call Human Resources at 245-2557, to discuss your eligibility.
