Staff Council Corner

Dr. Roseann Mandziuk who is serving as a Presidential Fellow this year visited with Staff Council on January 13th to review the Work-Life goals and strategies currently underway at the university. Dr. Mandziuk provided an overview of the upcoming web based survey that will be distributed soon to staff and faculty both electronically and in hard copy to those without computer access. The survey is designed to solicit feedback on issues and concerns members of our community hold regarding work-life including personal support services, wellness programs, family care policies and professional development programs. The results from the survey will be used to develop recommendations and strategies which support and benefit all university employees. I encourage all staff to complete and return the survey.

In addition, Staff Council received a letter of appreciation and support from President Trauth on December 19th. In her letter Dr. Trauth assured the members of Staff Council that she will continue to work with us on issues important to staff at the university.
