Staff Council Corner

August always signals the end of a year for us and this year end will bring a subsequent year of many changes in many places for Texas State staff members. We begin the staff council year with a group that includes nine new faces. The August Staff Council meeting to be held on the 10th from 8 am until noon will be our annual orientation meeting for new members. This meeting is open to the public as usual, but we will not be likely to conduct staff business at this meeting.

To the new Staff Council members, I’d like to say welcome aboard and good luck for a very enlightening and successful Staff Council Year.

To the entire staff and faculty at Texas State, I’d like to say welcome to another new year and I hope you have a happy SAP. Relax and enjoy the coming of a brave new world.
