Staff Council Corner

Staff Council had a tremendous response from staff during the Staff Council nomination process last month for the 2004-2006 member term. Thank you to everyone who self-nominated and those of you who were nominated by a fellow staff member and agreed to have your names placed on the election ballot which will be distributed shortly. I hope each of you will participate during the election process. Remember, the 25 members elected represent over 1,700 staff at the university and the council membership plays an important role in addressing staff issues and concerns.

All Staff Council meeting agendas and minutes are posted on our website at www.txstate.edu/staffcouncil/. All staff and interested parties are invited to attend our monthly meetings. Please feel free to contact any Staff Council member if you have an issue or concern.
