Policy for Enrollment in Academic Courses Changed

Great news! Employees interested in enrolling in academic courses no longer have a waiting period for fee payments or paid release time.

President’s Cabinet recently approved proposed changes to eliminate the one year waiting period for paid release time and the three year waiting period for fee payments.

In addition, department heads, at their discretion and if funding is available, can now pay for tuition and fees out of department funds if an employee attends a course that is directly related to their current or prospective job duties.
